Pit stop transcript:
Hey everybody, this is jackie from asl speaking.org. So today's slang is pit stop. If you watch Nascar, you might think a pit stop is when a car, a race car comes off the track and they get more gas, new tires, fix any problems, etc.
However, as a slang word, a pit stop means a bathroom break, a toilet break, or a washroom break. You're driving with your friend on a road trip and you say, let's make a pit stop. That means I have to go to the bathroom. I have to go to the toilet.
So here's an example. You're driving, "Hey ted, can you make a pit stop?" Ted says, "Sure, no problem. There's a gas station. Let's go."
